Global Africa Business Initiative (GABI) Releases GABI Conversations Report on Digital Transformation for the Continent
The Global Africa Business Initiative (GABI) is thrilled to announce the release of the GABI Conversations report on Digital Transformation – The Key to Africa’s Inclusive Economic Growth and Prosperity, which outlines key objectives and actionable insights shared by over 40 participants, including global and African private sector leaders, government representatives, and other stakeholders during the UN Global Compact Roundtable at the Africa CEO Forum in Kigali on May 16, 2024.
Key insights from the GABI Conversations, convened on behalf of the UN system, underscored the importance of creating an environment where digital skills can thrive and the necessity of multi-stakeholder collaboration for Africa’s growth. The report also highlighted AI as a pivotal driver for the future and emphasized the role GABI should play in 2025 and beyond in championing AI in Africa and advocating for the development of the necessary infrastructure to support AI technologies.
