Who is your Unstoppable African

As Unstoppable Africa enters its fifth year, we’re inviting you to recognise the people whose vision, leadership and determination are driving Africa’s future.

Across Africa, entrepreneurs, business leaders, innovators, creatives and athletes are turning bold business ideas into enterprises, industries and opportunities that are reshaping economies and improving lives. 

People across Africa and around the world are invited to nominate someone whose work deserves greater recognition in one of its five focus areas: Energy; Digital Transformation; Trade; Creative Industries; or Sports.

Following the close of nominations, GABI will select five individuals, one from each of its focus areas, to be featured in its storytelling series ahead of Unstoppable Africa 2026. Through this global platform, their stories will be shared across the continent and around the world, highlighting what makes them and Africa unstoppable. It takes just three minutes. Is this a competition?

No. There's no public vote, no jury, and no prize. This is about identifying the changemakers whose leadership, innovation and impact deserve greater recognition. GABI reviews every nomination and selects five individuals to be featured as part of our storytelling series ahead of Unstoppable Africa 2026, giving them a platform to share their stories, amplify their impact and inspire others.

Can I nominate more than one person?

Yes. Simply submit a separate nomination form for each person you would like to nominate.

Can I nominate myself?

Yes, self-nominations are welcome.

What happens after I submit?

GABI reviews all nominations. A short list of changemakers will be announced on GABI's social channels, ahead of Unstoppable Africa 2026.
