Yvonne Ike is a Managing Director and Head of Sub-Saharan Africa (Ex-RSA) at Bank of America. Yvonne has more than 25 years’ experience in the financial services sector and since joining Bank of America (BofA) in September 2014, Yvonne established the bank as a leader in providing international financial services in the Sub-Saharan Africa region.
Yvonne is an Executive sponsor of BofA Inter-Generational (iGEN) Employee Network. In addition, Yvonne is a Global Ambassador for the Global Ambassadors Programme with Vital Voices. Yvonne is also a sponsor of the Africa Recruitment Programme at Bank of America.
Yvonne is passionate about actively contributing to Africa’s development; in 2017, Yvonne founded Adara Foundation, an NGO that focuses on women, education and entrepreneurship in Africa. She also serves as a Trustee of The Aliko Dangote Foundation and the Christopher Kolade Foundation.
In 2020 Yvonne joined the Global Advisory Council of Oxford University Business School.
Yvonne has received many international awards including being recognized by the Queen of England as one of the top 200 business women in the UK to make a significant impact in society and in 2019 she was also recognised as one of the Top 100 Women CEOs in Africa.
