Solange Ribeiro

She was CEO of the Neoenergia Group from 2012 to 2017. Member of the Board of Directors of several companies and multisectoral associations.

With 40 years of experience, she has in-depth knowledge of the electricity sector and diverse professional experiences that combine tactical-operational and strategic aspects in senior leadership positions in large companies. Engaged in different multi-sector coalitions, she actively works towards a more sustainable and inclusive agenda, which includes accelerating climate ambition through the energy transition.

Degree in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Pernambuco, master’s degree from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro. She was a visiting researcher at the “Centre of Environmental Technology” at the “Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine”, London.
