Phumzile Langeni

Chair, Afropulse Group / Non-Executive Director of DP World Group

Phumzile, a stockbroker by training, is the co-founder and executive Chairman of Afropulse Group Proprietary Limited. She is the Chairman of Delta Property Fund and Metrofile Limited. She is Deputy Chairman of Imperial Logistics and serves as a Non-Executive Director of DP World Limited, Nedbank Group Limited and Nedbank Limited. She is a Member of Council at the University of Pretoria.

On the 14th of May 2024, she was bestowed on behalf of the President of the French Republic, the distinguished honour of the Ordre National du Mérite (National Order of Merit), by France’s Ambassador to South Africa, His Excellency, Mr. David Martinon. Phumzile previously served as part of President Ramaphosa’s Special Investment Envoy. In 2021 she was appointed as a Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Advisory Council on Investment (PACI), which is chaired by President Ramaphosa.

She has a BCom from The University of KwaZulu-Natal, BCom (Hons) from Unisa, and MCom from The University of Pretoria.
