Chido Cleopatra Mpemba

Ms. Chido Mpemba is serving as the youngest diplomat and political appointee in the Cabinet of the African Union Chairperson. In this role she represents the largest demographic in Africa of over 870 Million youth across the 55 Governments in the African Union. She has committed her career to uplifting local communities and championing pivotal initiatives in financial economic empowerment , gender empowerment , climate change , mental health , education , and digital transformation. 

She also serves as the youngest appointed Commissioner & Co-Chair for the World Health Organization (WHO) Commission on Social Connection leading the work with Ministers and thought leaders from across the globe. She is an advisory board member for the European Union Global Gateway Africa initiative and a Global Leadership Council Member for UNICEF Generation Unlimited.
