Fotemah Mba is a seasoned executive, philanthropist, and thought leader with over 20 years of impact in music, media, and social development. He currently serves as Head of A&R at Cinq Music, where he oversees strategic acquisitions, talent development, and global market expansion. In this role, he has collaborated with Grammy-winning artists such as T.I. and Janet Jackson while advancing the global growth of Afrobeats. Earlier, he played a pivotal role in building Konvict Records with Akon, later becoming Vice President of Kon Live. There, he helped launch the international careers of artists including Wizkid and Lady Gaga.
Beyond entertainment, Mba is the Founder and CEO of Jump Africa, a nonprofit dedicated to advancing education and healthcare across Africa. Under his leadership, the organization has established 51 libraries, distributed more than one million books, and provided over 1,400 health screenings in countries including Cameroon, Ghana, Nigeria, Congo, and Somaliland. In partnership with football legend Samuel Eto’o, he also coordinated the delivery of $500,000 worth of medical equipment to hospitals in Cameroon during the global pandemic. Mba’s service extends to global institutions. He sits on the board of Books For Africa, the world’s largest supplier of books to the continent, and is a board member of BIMA, the American Association of Independent Music. He also advises Trace TV on U.S. operations, expanding African culture and media worldwide.
A proud member of the Buckhead Rotary, Mba embodies service, leadership, and cross-cultural impact. Raised by a diplomat, an educator, and an entrepreneur, Mba brings a unique global perspective and divides his time between Atlanta, Nigeria, and Cameroon.
