Anthony Carroll

Anthony Carroll has five decades of experience as an investor, philanthropist and thought leader in Africa. He is a co-founder of the Mining Indaba and serves on the event's executive board. He has had fellowships with CSIS and the Carnegie Endowment and was an adjunct professor at Johns Hopkins University. His experience in mining and oil, and gas in Africa is extensive, and he has recently joined the board of ReElemet Technologies, a company that processes minerals and rare earths using environmentally benign and energy-efficient methods that can be located at or near mine sites.
